Actress behind original Smurfette dies. (Hanna-Barbera/courtesy Everett Collection) Lucille Bliss, the voice of Smurfette and several other iconic cartoon characters, died last week at the age of 96 from natural causes. Katy Perry played Smurfette in the feature film, but Bliss was the original blue-hued babe.
